Landscapes

A David Leese landscape explores the relationships between the colors, shapes and textures found in natural landforms. He feels that too often we seem to take for granted the natural beauty that surrounds us. Little pockets of unused or forgotten real estate and the abbreviated vistas left between developments and corporate parks provide the inspiration for many of his compositions.

In addition to its many compositional possibilities, landscape is a subject capable of presenting a full range of expression. From the intense reds of a fading sunset to the subtle tones of an overcast sky, the possibilities are endless.
